About C-SAW

My goal at C-SAW is to bring a love of design and commitment to craftsmanship to every project. I enjoy working one on one with clients whether creating a unique piece for just the right place your home or bringing back the original integrity of a well-loved antique. Attention to design, form and finish are always my highest priority.

I began designing and building custom furniture in Albuquerque New Mexico in the mid 1980’s. Prior to opening my business I received a fine arts degree from Western Washington University with a focus on Japanese art history and printmaking. I moved to New Mexico where I completed two apprenticeships. The first in a ceramicists studio studying the properties of glazes and porcelain ceramics and the second in a violin makers shop learning the craft and techniques of old world violin making and finishes.  Over the ensuing years my interest in European, Early American and Asian antiques led naturally to my desire to focus on their restoration and repair.

A native north westerner, I returned to the Seattle area in the 1990’s and continue to work in antique restoration, custom furniture design and fine art.

I welcome your comments and look forward to working with you
